Centers for Self-Organization of Russians Abroad (CSR) are created on the initiative of the Congress of People’s Deputies to involve Russians in temporary emigration in legal and other struggles against the Putin regime.

Representatives of the Congress along with well-known local activists and groups work in the centers to carry out the following work:

– Search for assets stolen by officials and businessmen close to power in Russia and legalized in the West, including those named on sanctions lists;

– Training of personnel ready to immediately return to Russia after the change of regime and take part in the creation and work of new authorities;

– Legal assistance in filing lawsuits against the authorities of the Russian Federation for actions that led to the emigration of representatives of the diaspora and other illegal activities of government agencies;

– Training for those who are ready to return to the Russian Federation now for the purposes of organizing and/or participating in political activism, or who wish to go to Ukraine for this same purpose;

– Legal and advisory support in cooperation with local authorities;

– Assistance to activists and bloggers in the production of videos and other content in order to convey objective information to Russians who have limited access to independent media;

– Search for witnesses of war crimes of the Putin regime in Ukraine, Georgia, Chechnya, Syria, etc.

The centers work with local NGOs and foundations that can support their activities.
