Mark Feigin was born in 1971, in Kuibyshev.
In 1989, he joined the first opposition party in the Soviet Union, the Democratic Union.
In 1994 he became the youngest deputy of the State Duma of Russia (Russia’s Choice faction).
In 1995, he took part in the rescue of Russian prisoners of war during the First Chechen War.
Graduated from Samara State University (Faculty of Law) in 1995. Later he studied at the Academy of National Economy and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. In the early 2000s, he began to practice as a lawyer. He became widely known thanks to the cases of Pussy Riot, Nadezhda Savchenko, and Mustafa Dzhemilev. With his YouTube channel, he has become one of the most vocal public opponents of the Putin regime.
